‘The future lies in existing buildings – strategies for housing construction’
How can we overcome the construction blockade? At the twelfth polisKEYNOTES event on 6 November in Bremen, Michael Ziller, Swetlana Arengold, Johann Christian Plagemann, Manfred Corbach and Alexander Gutzmer will discuss
- how economic efficiency, sustainability and quality of life can be combined,
- what role multi-storey residential construction and qualitative densification play in this,
- whether we can manage without additional land sealing,
- and what new alliances between the public sector, private industry and cooperative organisations might look like.
‘Rethinking housing: simplifying, densifying, responsibility.’
The aim is to think beyond boundaries – between systems, stakeholder logic and responsibilities – and find practical ways to turn ambitious housing construction goals into reality.
