New urban residential quarter on Freisinger Landstraße in Freimann

We are delighted that the City Council's Committee for Urban Planning and Building Regulations today passed the resolution for the sustainable residential quarter on Freisinger Landstraße.

The planning is based on concepts from an urban development and landscape planning competition and a feasibility study – both developed by us in collaboration with Freising-based landscape architects grabner huber lipp.

Innovative residential solutions with up to 600 apartments are being built on around 13.5 hectares, up to 40 per cent of which are subsidised housing and rent-controlled apartments. The project combines urban living with nature and creates space for a variety of leisure activities: from daycare centres and sports facilities to a public park along the Garchinger Mühlbach stream.

The focus on nature conservation, the integration of fresh air corridors and sustainable construction methods, as well as mobility concepts, contribute to making the neighbourhood a lively, green space. This promotes quality of life and strengthens the community aspect.
