ARCHITECTURE IN A DUO
The Don Camillo and Peppone principle
Two pairs for the Erding building cooperative on Görresstrasse
The existing buildings derive their unmistakable charm from an attitude that expresses itself in an almost mischievous directness. In their unpretentious presence, they stand confidently alongside the new buildings, which take a clear architectural stance. These new buildings, constructed entirely in timber, reinterpret a ‘New Objectivity’, inspired by the ideas of the 1920s and 30s - a design language that is guided by function and equally striking in a contemporary context.
