On 19 September, in glorious late summer weather, the Munich housing cooperative München-West eG (WGMW) invited all tenants of the Yellow Block and those involved in the project to a joint ‘residents' party’ in Geroltstraße.

To kick things off, Supervisory Board Chair Doris Schüle-Wolfsfellner (WGMW) led a discussion round on the construction project. Together with Thomas Schimmel (CEO of WGMW), Michael Ziller (zillerplus architects and urban planners) and Sybille Stöhr (chair of the district committee), she spoke about the construction measures during ongoing operations and coexistence in the apartment block.

This was followed by a cosy get-together with food, laughter and celebrations.

It was particularly nice to see and hear that all residents are convinced of the chosen path and the result of the comprehensive construction project – the Yellow Block is now fit for future generations.
