Ahoi Heimatmole! A co-operative housing project at Baakenhafen in HafenCity
The building combines urban density with living in green surroundings. Three key themes have been developed to achieve this: greenery, living space and community. The green façade, which serves as a vertical garden assigned to the flats, is a defining feature. It extends the flats with a green room, improves the microclimate and provides shade. The flats are designed for flexible living arrangements. Modular spaces can be added, and areas such as the community club and the roof terrace encourage social interaction and shared activities.
